SCA NH Corps
SCA NH AmeriCorps Conservation Stewards are a diverse group of young adults who arrive in New Hampshire from all over the country, ready to serve, learn, and have fun!
From April through October Conservation Stewards team up with the 10-month SCA New Hampshire AmeriCorps members to build new trails, maintain existing trail networks, eradicate invasive plant species, restore and preserve historical structures, and maintain visitor facilities, such as pavilions and cabins throughout the state of New Hampshire. A typical field project or “hitch” will consist of collaborating as part of a 6-7 person crew for 11 days in the field.
Conservation Steward Corps members dedicate 6 months of their lives to serve in communities throughout New Hampshire while contributing as active community members in a residential program called the SCA NH AmeriCorps.
